Charitable giving has long been a cornerstone for Frontier Credit Union’s mission. It began in 1987 with the launch of the Coins for Christmas program, inspired by the simple philosophy of “kids helping kids”. This program was reimagined in 2018 as Kick for Kids, reflecting its year-round commitment to helping children in need. Through the Kicks for Kids program, shoe vouchers are provided to children by participating schools and organizations across Idaho.
In 2022, Frontier Credit Union combined Coins for Christmas and Kicks for Kids into a 501(c)(3) organization, called the Frontier Foundation. This transformation enabled the Foundation to extend its reach and support more programs and people throughout Idaho, in alignment with Frontier Credit Union’s dedication to building better lives.

Seeing the positive impact, we can make together is incredibly rewarding.”
