Since 1987 the Frontier Foundation has been raising money for new shoes for less fortunate children in Idaho, while teaching children the value of giving. The Coins for Christmas program was created on the simple philosophy of "Kids Helping Kids" and the power of the Christmas spirit.
ABOUT THE FRONTIER FOUNDATION
The Frontier Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charity ran by Frontier Credit Union employees. We’ve been raising money for new shoes for less fortunate children throughout East Idaho starting in 1987. Since then, we have expanded our giving to include many different efforts that improve the lives of children in East Idaho.
The foundation not only benefits children in need of new shoes, but it also teaches children the value of giving by encouraging schools to fundraise for the cause; we then work with local leaders to identify and supply shoes for children in need.
